Automated Test Suite

The open source InterUSS Platform test suite enables compliance with common industry standards and regulations through ecosystem-wide automated testing.

The open-source automated test suite developed on the InterUSS Platform enables USSPs to continuously test their compliance with the requirements set by the standards that govern the implementation of U-space/UTM services.

This approach has already been developed for:

InterUSS Platform

  • Supports U-space compliance
  • Tests standards-based systems
  • Serves the ecosystem
  • Enables uses beyond interoperability (e.g. geo-awareness)

For Network Remote Identification (Net-RID)

Ensuring compliance with standards and regulations, especially across multiple systems, can be complex and time-consuming. This automated test suite enables validation against standards and regulations, helping both USSPs and competent authorities.

USSPs use the tool to comprehensively verify that their systems meet all requirements and interoperate correctly with all other USSP participants’ systems. This verification can be performed prior to every potential software release with very low overhead, minimizing errors in production systems with minimal engineering resources.

Competent authorities can qualify and oversee service providers by allowing them to run onboarding and periodic canonical tests on the systems they oversee in a staging environment.

For Strategic Conflict Detection

For strategic conflict detection, also known as strategic coordination, the InterUSS platform test suite enables USSPs to test their services against each other. It can also be used by authorities to automatically onboard service providers and continuously monitor service performance at the service provider level.
